Sewing Workshop: Zipper Pouch

This class is hosted by Terra, Wallflower shop owner.  Terra is a long time sewer and has experience with garment sewing, alterations and pattern making. Terra worked at Hart’s Fabric before opening Wallflower in 2010. Over the years Terra has made dozens of zipper bags, masks and clothes for purchase at Wallflower. 

Learn how to attach a zipper and make your own little zipper pouch. These pouches have many uses and are great gifts for the holidays. A required $20 kit of fabric and notions is included. You are also welcome to bring your own fabric if preferred. 

This is a beginner workshop but a basic understanding of how your machine works is required. Fabric, notions and tools are provided. Bring your own sewing machine or we have one available to rent for an additional $35/class. If you need help learning the basics please complete the Get to Know Your Sewing Machine Class at Vac & Sew Santa Cruz before enrolling in this workshop. 

Please bring a machine to class that has been recently serviced or is in good working order.  Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to trouble-shoot or repair machines during class. If your machine needs service or repair take it to Vac & Sew Santa Cruz for maintenance before enrolling in this workshop. 

Class Size Minimum:  There must be at least two people signed up for the workshop to proceed.  We will let you know 24 hours in advance if we do not have enough people and will give you an opportunity to sign up for another workshop or receive a refund.  

Cancellation Policy:  You may cancel a class up to 2 days before the class begins and receive a refund. However, less than 2 days will forfeit class fee unless you can send a friend.
